About the DJ My name is Tim Jaffe aka DJ 3rd Degree, Owner and your DJ for Dance Floor DJs. Before I started the company in 2003, I was performing at a variety of events and weddings just based on word of mouth and my reputation for knowing my music. I decided to form my own mobile DJ business because I saw an absence of quality and affordability within the DJ industry that I knew I could fill. I saw that many DJs charged a lot of money, lacked customer service (and personality), were not current on their music collection, and did not have the creativity and knowledge of beat mixing, or inspiring the guests to keep dancing throughout the event. Music has always been my passion. I'm excited to be able to own and work in a business that I love. I know this shows in the quality of service I provide and from the positive and complimentary feedback I have been hearing from clients. I have had the pleasure of coordinating the music for weddings, parties, high school reunions, middle and high school dances, company functions (holiday parties, store openings/sale events, charity events, art openings, awards shows), festivals and community events. I am also the official DJ for Ed Hardy,, a Christian Audigier clothing company. I know how to get the crowd rocking and to keep them in a positive party mood.
